sure, traditional businesses are motivated by profit and shareholders. but we’ve never been known for being traditional. instead, our purpose drives our business.

we make business decisions with people in mind. that means holding ourselves accountable to supportingthe well-being and livelihood of our team, our community and the people who use our products.

we consider our responsibility to the greater good and the environment in every aspect of our products + how we make them. and we regularly measure our planetary performance to make sure we’re meeting our high standards.
meet adam and eric
meet adam lowry and eric ryan, proud brainparents of method®. despite single-handedly turning the consumer-packaged-goods industry on its head, these two former roommates are quick to tell you that they’re no heroes. and that’s true. they’re super-heroes. and like every great superhero, they had a nemesis: clunky, joyless cleaning products made without our higher purpose in mind.
eric knew people wanted modern cleaning products they didn’t have to hide under their sinks. and adam knew how to make them, steadfastly following the goal of business doing good. their powers combined, they set out to save the world and create an entire line of home + personal care products that were more powerful than a bottle of sodium hypochlorite, gentler than a thousand puppy licks, and able to dazzle up tall homes in a single afternoon.
