    blue poppy

how many times have you thought to yourself, “no one ever sends me flowers. I should buy myself flowers,” and then not followed through? us too. so we came up with a solution: the scent of sun-drenched wildflowers. even better? no wilting.

as the zesty kid sister to the orange, our sweet clementine often feels that she’s not taken seriously. we think serious is overrated anyway. but from here forward, we decree that she be known as the patron citrus of all that is good, clean, bright + cheery. hear, hear!

the natural cucumber extract with bursts of light citrus is like a spa day in a bottle. it’s crisp, cool + refreshing, just like the vegetable itself. only better, because it cleans. for best results, use while wearing a white, fluffy robe.

    fig + rhubarb

bold fig meets shy rhubarb. palms get sweaty. hearts beat fast. love ensues. they live happily ever after spreading the sweet scented joy of their union. noses everywhere rejoice.

    french lavender

is there really any other kind? this enchanting medley of lavender, bergamot, purple sage + chamomile is like a brief respite to the french countryside. incidentally, to the exact coordinates where the sun always shines + all of your cleaning fantasies come true.

    fresh currant

bright notes of blackcurrant + red apple tickled by lily + jasmine pop with a tart cheeriness. it’s like the cheeky, beautiful teenager of fragrances. except that it’ll probably give you less sass.

    green tea + aloe

bliss can be defined in a lot of ways. drinks with umbrellas come to mind. but if you were to express it through a scent, it would probably be something very close to this soothing fusion of fresh ivy, agave, green tea + aloe vera.

    lemon mint

it’s hard to find two complementary fragrances with so little in common. she’s thick-skinned. he’s what you might describe as delicate. her vibrant zest stimulates. his strength is in herbal understatement. yet, together they’re a perfectly refreshing pair. love is strange.

    mandarin mango

knock, knock. who's there? an energizing, fresh, fruity fragrance with top notes of vibrant mandarin, mid notes of ripe mango, and accents of white nectarine creating the feeling of mouthwatering freshness.

    pink grapefruit

there are certain scents that seem to put an extra spring in your step. like this refreshing fusion of pink grapefruit, blood orange + cassis. in fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if this vibrant medley induces spontaneous skipping. it’s been known to happen.

    sea minerals

it seems like every time fresh + clean get together, something wonderful happens. uniting in this watery blend of bergamot, lemon + rosemary, with crisp marine notes is no exception. it’s like a mini-vacation to the seaside, minus the sand in your crevices.

    sweet water™

if we had a signature scent, it would probably be this. sweet water is like a cool splash of grapefruit + lemon leaves wrapped in watery petals of star jasmine + lily of the valley. it’s rumored that water from the fountain of youth smells similarly.

since it’s not practical to call it quits on reality and retreat to Windermere Island, consider this your temporary solution. your 15-second escape. your oasis in a desert of routine. surrender to the scent of cool, cascading water lily + sandalwood.

I really, Really, REALLY LOVE the French Lavender scent. This is the first time I’ve used Method products and I can’t get enough of this scent. I almost don’t even care to try any others! I am begging you guys to make this a part of your body wash line.

I'm a method girl!!

I use the Waterfall hand wash in the bathroom and the Pink Grapefruit in the kitchen. I keep them full with the handy refills. I love this soap!! It makes my hands so clean and soft. The soap smells great and the best part, it’s all natural and eco!

Green Tea + Aloe is the way to go!

One bottle and refill lasted me two years in college! This product will last you a while but also leaves your hands feeling great afterwards. Forget about that dry feeling, when you can tell that your soap just stripped your hands of any natural oil. The gel hand wash is a great product that I would recommend to anyone needing some more hand soap.

I really like this stuff!

OK, so it’s just handsoap, but, I really like this b/c
1. it’s safe – there’s no warning on the label; check other handsoaps and you’ll see warnings on most, if not all
2. it works – yes, hands come clean (surprise!) from just a little squirt of soap with water
3. I’ve got french lavender and it really smells like real french lavender, not lavender candy
4. refills available so I don’t have to throw the bottle in the trash (yet)

Thanks again, Method!

I'm a methodist

I put the sea mineral soap in our master bedroom and not only do I love the smell but the soap gets even my husbands grubby mitts clean. The shape of the bottle is great because it doesn’t take up a lot of space but more importantly the pump on this bottle is durable enough that my husband has yet to break it – this has been a problem with other pump soap bottles.

i love this soap, it doesnt dry out my hands and its great also for people who wear contacts because its suggested to wash your hands with a soap thats not anti bac. Im begging method to make the ecualytpus mint smell into the gel with a refill avabile, not just the foam. i love the foam but its silly that it only comes in two refill smells. other then that commement this soap rocks!

My Mand-Mang Kitchen!

I love this scent! The Mandarin Mango ‘orange thing’ is all over my kitchen, in addition to the Clementine! I just need to know where I can find the refill bottles! I’m hunting like crazy on-line and in stores but can not find it.

Great Products

while at first it seems a little more expensive than other options, it dispenses the exact amount you need, not enough for 3 people, which is hard to rinse off your hands. Can’t wait til my other dispensers run out so I can have only this in my house. Love the body wash also, keep up the good innovative work.

even more troublesome...

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is concerning to me when I see it in other brands of products, but I trust that method does not subject it to ethoxylation like many companies do given that Sodium LaurETH Sulfate is not listed as an ingredient. So in response to Ivan, I can say with a pretty good amount of confidence that I believe method is free of any Agent Orange-esque disinfectant. However, the presence of Cocamide DEA and methylisothiazolinone is disappointing and worrisome to me. Cocamide DEA, although derived from coconut oil as you state, is combined with diethanolamine to form the final product and has some scary effects on fetal growth; and methylisothiazolinone, which may be “safe” at certain levels, has shown troublesome effects on brain cells/neurons in studies of repeated low-level exposure .
Method, I love your cleaning products so, so much. I will finish using the bottle of your handwash instead of packing it away like I have products containing triclosan and parabens, but will look to another brand of hand soap next time. :[

It's dangerous to use

Mainly because of Sodium Laureth Sulfate:
One or more animal studies show sense organ effects at very low doses – RTECS®- National Technical Information Service 9868
Classified as expected to be toxic or harmful – Environment Canada Domestic Substance List

Love my Sweet Water

Came across your sweet water hand wash over a year ago and fell in love with it right away. Then my local Publix stopped carrying it and I was devastated. Lukily I found your refill today at Target and am delighted to have sweet water back. Product is great and smells wonderful. Can’t wait to try the other method products. Glad to see I can also order from your web site.

Method Waterfall hand soap....AHHHH!

As long as Method keeps producing the waterfall, we are best friends. :) I wish I could get the dish soap and body wash in this scent too. My second fave is sea minerals, and my third fave is a tie between cucumber and french lavender. The waterfall scent is sooooooooooo good that I keep wanting to wash my hands and sniff it! LOL!

Fresh Current (limited edition)

The limited edition hand wash smells awesome. Its mild and cuts grease and grim pretty well, not as well as their dish soup, but still well enough for a hand soup. Very nice!

My first love

I bought sweet water when I moved to college when I was 19 for my bathroom hand soap simply because the bottle looked “cool”. When I used it once… I fell in love and haven’t looked back. It made me want to try the household cleaner line and the other products. I love all the products I’ve tried but the hand soap was what first hooked me. :)

I love it but... did it change?

OK, I would give it a 5 but the cucumber hand wash I bought doesn’t even look like the cucumber dishwash I have. and it smells more lemony or something. did it change?! The other was so smooth & smelled AWESOME!! so, what’s up with that?

I used to buy all my family’s hand soaps at a mall “Body” store, since I like their variety of smells and the antibacterial properties. This is a fraction of the price of my usual brand and Method offers a ton of yummy scents. I have replaced all the hand soap in my home.

The only one we use!

We’ve been using Method’s hand soaps for the bathroom for the last 3 years and I love them! However, due to the recession and budgetary cuts here in the homestead I’ve developed my own “method” for using my beloved Method and sticking to my budget… I buy what ever scents I love in the regular gel bottle (Waterfall and Sweet water are my faves) and I have a Method foam pump that I use to make it go farther. I pour enough of the gel in the bottom of the foam bottle to come up to where the letters begin (from the bottom, NOT to the top) and then fill up the bottle 3/4 of the way up with water, place the pump back on, screw, and shake! That’s its! Foaming method hand soap in your favorite scents! One gel bottle lasts me almost 2 months and I recycle the bottle when I’m done!

Oh yeah, Sweet Water

Sweet Water, all the way… Feel in love with this scent while using it at a buddies house. Delicious! And works great, just wish I could get it closer to home. My only concerns are with the inclusion of sodium laurel sulfate and a few other ingredients. I’m not so keen on dioxins as possible contaminants!

My favorite

Seriously, this is the only handwash I use. I just love that the only ickiness going down the drain is whatever is being washed from my hands. To make it an enjoyable experience through scent therapy, makes it all that much better! My favorite scents are French Lavender (to use when I am in a mellow mood) and Pink Grapefruit (when I want something stimulating). Really, this stuff is SO GOOD.
