When you spray this stuff it get in the air and makes it incredibly difficult to breathe. I could only spray about 1/4 of the area (regular tub) before I had to close the bathroom door and turn the fan on.I expect a much better, kinder product when it says, "Method" This stuff cannot be healthy and it smells chemically

I first bought Method's Antibac spearmint spray at my local grocery store, and I fell in love with it. When my grocery store stopped carrying it, I turned to an online retailer, expecting to get same product.

It looked like the exact same product but with slightly updated labeling. It wasn't. I thought I was getting a product with thymol/thyme oil as the active ingredient, but this stuff uses citric acid. The smell is atrocious! It smells like slightly minty bad breath. It's so disgusting.

So far I've only used this to clean up a few spills on the floor. I guess it did a good job, it's hard to tell. But it did leave a very stick residue, giving me sticky floors--yuck!

I regret this purchase so much. It smells awful and leaves stickiness behind. If you can find the Method Antibac with thymol, get that! It's great stuff, but this version with citric acid? No way. DON'T BUY THIS.

Method, please bring back the thymol!

Okay, so the old lemon verbena antibac smelled like a thyme bomb, the old citrus antibac smelled fantastic, and the old "spearmint" antibac bathroom cleaner smelled like Cosmoline mixed with spearmint.

But the new citric acid formulas? Terrible all around. The bathroom cleaner smells (as other reviewers have mentioned) like pee, the sanitize and disinfect times are a whole lot longer (5 minutes to sanitize with citric acid versus 30 seconds with thymol!), and the citric acid versions leave a horrible, sticky film on everything if left to dry... And if you follow the 10 minute stand time for full disinfection, it will dry, and it will leave a gross sticky film.

I never thought I'd say it, but the CleanWell-powered thymol formulas were a much better product.

After seeing your Marketing videos I was sold! I have asthma and a special needs son who is very sensitive to fragrance. I was very excited to try the antibacterial bathroom cleaner in my son's bathroom especially, as he does have problems with aim. I was very disappointed as soon as I sprayed the product my lungs were felt a burning sensation and I began coughing. Even more disappointing was the urine smell was worse, not better. Luckily I still had some Clorox spray to clean a second time. Some above stated be happy with getting antibacterial cleaning power and who care about the scent, well sorry my lungs care that your product makes me cough and my nose doesn't prefers bleach smell to urine.

I used to love this product. We have it under all five bathroom sinks. I loved the smell and enjoyed being able to have a clean, fresh smelling bathroom every day. Recently, I purchased the spray noticing that the packaging looked different. The new formula does not have the same great scent and leaves a sticky residue if not completely wiped up or rinsed. Now I am left with several bottles of bad smelling cleaning product that we will not use. Please, please, please bring back the old formula!

I LOVE the eucalyptus mint bathroom line of cleaning products. My husband saw the anti bac bathroom cleaner and picked it up. After cleaning the bathroom I think it leaves an odor that smells like pee! At first I thought I didn't do a very good job, so I re-cleaned the bathroom again. Same smell again and again :( I will stick with the eucalyptus mint tub and tile cleaner. I like the anti bac option, I just don't like the scent it leaves behind. I am also missing the eucalyptus mint toilet bowl cleaner which was also replaced with an anti bac. Maybe just preference, but bring back the old formula!!!

I used to love this product it smelled great and worked even better. But since they changed the main ingredient from thyme to citrus, it smells like pee. I thought it was just the Lemon kitchen cleaner at first but the new bathroom cleaner i bought smelled the same, especially compared to an old bottle with thyme. Please go back to thyme!

Like other reviewers here, I used and loved the Spearmint formula that was available earlier this year. I love that it gave my bathroom that "just brushed clean teeth" feeling and smell. I'm not kidding - I LOVED that minty fresh scent. I agree that it was strong, but that was what I liked about it - it smelled substantial. I just returned from Target with the newly designed bottle and was so sad to find that it a formula change, too. It now smells like a stale margarita. Please, please, please reconsider the formula change and bring back some of the mint.
