if you’ve paid much attention to our company culture over the years, you probably know that we love a good party. even more than a good party, we love themes. and costumes. basically, any chance we get to dress up (see our recent ping pong tournament), we take it.
luckily, we have our annual method prom to scratch the costume itch. but instead of a stuffy holiday party, we like to mix things up and spend a summer evening getting crazy with all of our colleagues, including our chicago, uk and hong kong teams.
this year’s prom was held at the phoenix hotel in downtown sf. the theme, “party like a rock star,” was perfect for the venue, known for housing some of the most famous rock stars to pass through the city: janis joplin, joan jett, the red hot chili peppers, and pearl jam, just to name a few. there’s even a pool designed by andy warhol, which we were strongly encouraged not to enter.
in true method fashion, we went all out. from ziggy stardust to tina turner (incidentally, our prom king and queen), everyone amped up the hair volume, rolled out the black leather and neon and affixed the fake tattoos. we even had a special guest (see if you can spot him). it was pretty epic, but we’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
