meet Meagan Mitchell, our newest person against dirty! normally we don’t publicly introduce each new member of the team, but it seemed only right considering that many of you will have contact with her. hers is the kind voice you’ll hear when you call our customer service line. you’ll also find her on facebook and twitter from time to time.
Meagan is a recent transplant from Springfield, Missouri. she has a masters degree in integrated marketing from Drury University. and she can bake like a mother. (we swear, that’s not why we hired her.)
but why don’t we let her tell you herself how awesome she is. it’s more fun that way.
Meagan, we couldn’t be happier to have you. so tell us, besides wooing innocent strangers with your baking skills, what else do you like to do?
I love to cook for friends, travel, run, sweat it out in bikram yoga, make up dialogue for my dog and read magazines.
what are you most looking forward to here at method?
I’m excited about working for a company that I admire, and more specifically, getting to interact with the actual consumers who love our products.
what’s one thing that Springfield has that San Francisco can’t compete with? please don’t say summer. it’s a sore subject.
well, of course there’s my parents and dear friends…but there’s also this restaurant, Bambu, that makes the most amazing pho I’ve ever had. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it.
invisibility or flying?
definitely flying. so efficient.
cupcakes or cookies?
now this is a really tough one for a person like me. I’ve made so many cupcakes in my day that I’m a little sick of them, but truly good cookies are hard to find. so cupcakes. they’re more consistent.
favorite method product?
I love the dish soap in basil. I’d bathe in it if that weren’t weird.
well, you know weird is encouraged here. speaking of which, how do you plan on keeping method weird?
by generally being myself, which includes spontaneous outbursts of song—especially Steely Dan, talking to myself, always being hungry and hopefully bringing new baked concoctions into the office on occasion.
we love her already!
