henry yu is a big moolah spender. which, at method, means he’s an accounting wizard. he’s also our newest employee of the month thanks to his skill, leadership and eagerness to take on new challenges. it’s no wonder he continues to make the finance team proud. heck, he makes all of us proud. here’s to you, henry.
congratulations on being named our april employee of the month! how does it feel?
thank you! I was totally surprised because there are so many others who deserve this award. it feels awesome to be recognized for doing a job that I feel very passionate about.
the trophy probably makes for a pretty sturdy paperweight. is it getting in the way?
not anymore, but I had to shuffle some things around to make it fit.
your Perk of Significance was a gift card to Amazon to treat yourself to something for your upcoming tour of Europe. where are you going? can you tell us more about your trip?
I’ll be visiting seven different places in10 days – London, Amsterdam, Rhine Valley, Munich, Venice, Lucerne and lastly Paris. this will be my first trip to Europe, so I’m super excited. I can’t wait.
you lucky thing. now onto the most important question: what’s in that Vault of Edible Riches? I’ll have to keep that a secret.
fair enough. so besides all the goodies, what’s your favorite part about this honor?
it was pretty nice to hear such kind words from Andrea when she presented me with the award.
if you could give one piece of advice to all of us employee-of-the-month-hopefuls, what would it be?
I don’t think I did anything specific to win this award and truly believe that everyone deserves it. just keep doing what you’re doing passionately, and you’ll be the employee of the month when you least expect it.
