employee of the month #10

posted July 16, 2012 by alexis |

we’re really lucky to work with a lot of talented people here at method. one of whom is our east coast sales director, meaghan killeen. when she’s not calling on one of her 43 (yes, 43) customers…come to think of it, unless she has more hours in her day than the rest of us, I don’t how she has time to do anything else. but she does. with a smile on her face. that’s probably why she was named employee of the month.

congratulations on being crowned our july employee of the month. have you taken off your crown and robe yet? it really suits you.
haha, yes, I have taken it off, but I did go outside and water the flowers in it.

your neighbors must have been impressed. as our east coast sales director, you work from home and the road. does that mean your Vault of Edible Riches is portable? like a fanny pack of edible riches or something?
yes, I did receive portable Edible Riches! but sadly, it was not in a fanny pack.

you could always put it in your own fanny pack. speaking of which, where do you have your trophy displayed?
my trophy is perfectly positioned on my kitchen table. my kitchen is in the middle of the house so I get to pass it quite often. it may have been strategic.

tell us about your Perk of Significance?
I was a very lucky girl and got $500 to spend at bloomingdales! I’m getting married in may, so it was supposed to help me accessorize for the wedding. though I’m not sure I’ll be able to restrain myself from buying things sooner. like a nice pair of jeans… ::sigh::

what’s your favorite thing about being employee of the month?
it’s a huge honor, but the actual crown is probably my favorite part. everyone needs a crown.

indeed they do. how do you stay connected to the method culture from so far away?
it’s definitely a little harder, but email and reading our blogs definitely makes me feel connected to the culture. keeping things weird on my end also makes me stay in touch with the culture.

like watering your flowers in full royal regalia. I like it. so how do you plan to wield your royal power this month?
through kindness. I always like to live by the rule of treat others how you would like to be treated. I could not have gotten this title without the help of all the great people I work with.

spoken like a true queen. thanks meaghan! congrats again.
