there is no shortage of planet-friendly people at method, and sustainability + responsibility are always on our minds. recently we were lucky enough to be able to take a break from being environmentally friendly in the office, and actually head out into the environment to get wet, dirty and make a difference.

what it is: slide ranch is an educational farm and nature preserve in a spectacular coastal location, half an hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge. it runs hands-on programs designed to connect children to nature, cultivate healthy bodies + minds and inspire a future generation of environmentalists.
what we did: we spent a fun, but very damp, day helping the slide ranch team get ready for their upcoming season. the braver (and more waterproof) among us helped tackle the ranch’s invasive Cape Ivy problem. others took shelter inside the yurt to drink hot tea while helping to prepare materials for the 4,000 students who are expected to participate in family farm programs in the coming year.
